| Roberts & Schaefer Company (R&S) has developed aggregate
production systems using their experience and understanding of
the severe conditions that exist in the quarry. Continued improvements
in raw material extraction and transportation have advanced the
use of in-pit crushing and overland conveying.
The use of mobile crushing units close to the working face and
movable conveyor systems provide efficient and versatile systems.
The application of in-pit crushing, near-pit crushing, and overland
conveying, significantly reduces the environmental impact caused
by truck haul operations.
Our "Full Service" experience includes investigation and feasibility
studies to determine the suitability of in-pit crushing and overland
conveying for each specific operation.
The following projects exemplify our experience.
GRANITE ROCK COMPANY
