AGGREGATE PRODUCTION
In-pit Crushing and Overland Conveying

Roberts & Schaefer Company (R&S) has developed aggregate production systems using their experience and understanding of the severe conditions that exist in the quarry. Continued improvements in raw material extraction and transportation have advanced the use of in-pit crushing and overland conveying.

The use of mobile crushing units close to the working face and movable conveyor systems provide efficient and versatile systems. The application of in-pit crushing, near-pit crushing, and overland conveying, significantly reduces the environmental impact caused by truck haul operations.

Our "Full Service" experience includes investigation and feasibility studies to determine the suitability of in-pit crushing and overland conveying for each specific operation.
