Ports and Terminals

Weighing, loading, unloading, storage facilities, stackers, reclaimers, and other mobile equipment are all parts of port and terminal facilities. While ports and terminal facilities vary, they normally require specific systems to manage their storage options and maximise throughput and storage turnovers. Facilities need to accurately weigh and sample material received and shipped, as well as provide suitable methods for blending.

Marshalling bulk materials for transshipment between truck, rail, and barge allows users to optimise their freight costs. R&S created this facility for processing coal, Pet & Met coke, iron ore pellets, and DRI. SANDUSKY DOCKS CORPORATION
Dust Suppression and Stormwater Management
Sandusky Bay, Ohio
R&S created an automatic dust suppression and stormwater management system to resolve environmental concerns from open piles of coal in ground level storage.
