A common mineral, limestone is composed mostly of calcium and
magnesium carbonate used in the iron, steel, cement, paper, agricultural,
and other industries. Limestone and lime are also used for air,
water, and sewage treatment.
Limestone processing involves conveying, crushing, screening
and tacking. The intricacy of in-plant lime systems makes it extremely
important that all systems are designed with precision and attention
to every detail. Roberts & Schaefer (R&S) determines the
conveying method, screening and stacking processes best suited
for each application.

SCRUBGRASS POWER GENERATING COMPANY
Scrubgrass
Power Plant
Ventigo County, Pennsylvania
Scrubgrass Power Generating Co. selected R&S to create a limestone
storage and reclaim and processing facility requiring major off-site
pre-assembly and fabrication to meet the challenge of limited
on-site work. R&S met the challenge and the project was completed
in less than 15 months. In-depth
