Limestone Grinding & Preparation

The grinding and preparation of limestone are specifically designed to reduce both fuels and sorbents in fluid bed boiler applications and are designed, constructed and commissioned by Roberts & Schaefer Company (R&S). Most limestone grinding systems include receipt, handling, milling, drying, and sizing with the finished product conveyed to a storage system, and subsequently, fed to the station's circulating fluidised bed boiler (CFB). Grinding limestone requires a careful understanding on the handling of fine particle sized material.

R&S' "Full Service" experience provides the added advantage of a single supplier, accepting total responsibility for the execution of each limestone grinding and preparation system undertaken.

The projects below define our "Full Service" Limestone Grinding and Preparation capabilities.
