Job Summary

The successful incumbent will be responsible for partnering with project teams, contractors and management to ensure appropriate scheduling in conformance with contract. The individual will conduct site visits and provide routine progress reports to management.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide planning and scheduling for multiple large-scale heavy materials handling projects
  • Partner with project teams in order to develop and maintain Engineering, Procurement and Construction schedules.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews of construction schedule submittals for conformance with contract.
  • Review critical path, cost loading, schedule content, and use of scheduling relationships, constraints and milestones.  Provide written reports as required.
  • Perform construction schedule impact analysis of change orders and prepare written reports outlining analysis and recommendations.
  • Track and be involved in the resolution of project issues as they relate to project schedules.  Prepare issue resolution scheduling alternatives as required.
  • Review monthly schedule progress and create reports for management.
  • Extensive interaction with clients, project teams, designers, contractors and subs in development and maintenance of various schedules and reports

Experience Requirements

  • 4 - 6 years of scheduling experience in the field or related area.
  • Primavera and cost construction experience is a must.
  • Construction industrial work experience required and material handling/conveyor systems knowledge preferred.

Education Requirements

  • Degree in Construction Management a plus
